The New Zealand International Doctoral Research Scholarships now invites International students to essay PhD study at the University of New Zealand.
New Zealand Universities: AUT University, Lincoln University, Massey University, University of Auckland, University of Canterbury, University of Otago, University of Waikato, Victoria University of Wellington will be hosting the entrants.
FIELD(S) OF STUDY:
PhD degree offered in any discipline at the above mentioned universities.
NUMBER OF SCHOLARSHIPS:
Approximately 8 scholarships will be granted.
International students who don’t hold citizenship or permanent residency of New Zealand are preferred the most.
VALUES AND DURATION:
The Scholarships covers the following for a TOTAL of three years: university tuition fees and associated student levies, an annual living stipend of NZ$25,000 (tax-free), and medical insurance coverage up to NZ$600 annually.
The students that prove to be eligible must fulfil the following:
- The entrant must hold a minimum grade equivalent to 3.7 GPA on a scale of 4.0 GPA OR an A to A+ average in your most recent or highest post degree.
- The entrant must carry his PhD degree in New Zealand.
- The entrant must not hold citizenship or residency of New Zealand.
- You must have a confirmed, non-conditional offer of place for a (direct-start) PhD programme at a New Zealand university
